Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) offers a nationally unique, industry-driven Injection Molding Technician program designed to fill critical workforce gaps in Utah’s advanced manufacturing sector. Through the support of Talent Ready Utah’s Utah Works grant, SLCC delivers short-term, hands-on training that prepares participants for immediate employment in roles such as molding technicians, process technicians, and equipment operators. This program is built in direct partnership with leading manufacturers including Merit Medical, BD Medical, and ICU Medical, who co-develop curriculum, provide equipment, and guarantee interviews for completers.
