In 2023, the Utah Legislature appropriated $4.5M in ongoing funds for Targeted Workforce Development in Computer Science and Healthcare Targeted Workforce Development to develop new programs and expand existing programs in targeted occupations that show regional demand. 

Eligibility

• The primary applicant must be a degree-granting institution or technical college within the system of higher education and according to Utah legislative code 53B-1-102.
  The application must include a partnership between at least one participating employer and degree-granting institution or technical college within the system of higher education and according to Utah legislative code 53B-1-102.
